Two cities, one problem: credit

Tiruppur and Coimbatore are an hour apart and make very different things. Tiruppur knits, dyes, prints and stitches garments. Coimbatore makes pumps, motors, castings, textile machinery and auto components. But walk into the accounts room of a unit in either city and you hear the same thing: “Payment is pending from many parties.”

In Tiruppur, one order passes through several job-work units and buyers often pay against several invoices in parts. In Coimbatore, dealers and OEM customers take long credit and pay on their own cycle. In both places the follow-up is done on the phone, and it stops the day the accounts person is busy.

Every invoice tracked to its due date, from Tally (import from Zoho Books).
Automatic WhatsApp and e-mail reminders with the amount, the due date and a polite message.

Invoices come from Tally (or import them from Zoho Books)
Enter invoices and payments in Tally as you do today. SmartWorker reads from Tally and never writes into it, and tracks each invoice to its due date.

Buyers and dealers are reminded
Automatic WhatsApp and e-mail reminders go out with the amount, the due date and a polite message. Paid or cancelled invoices never get a reminder.

You see who owes what
The owner's overview shows money to receive, overdue and critical amounts. The ageing report splits dues into 0-30, 31-60, 61-90 and 90+ days.

Questions

We sell to buyers inside and outside Tamil Nadu. Is GST handled?

Yes. SmartWorker makes GST invoices with CGST and SGST or IGST by place of supply, with HSN codes, invoice numbers per financial year and the amount in words in lakh and crore.

Buyers pay in parts and by cheque. Can it keep up?

Yes. Part payments are recorded against the right invoice. A post-dated cheque counts as paid only on the cheque date, and a bounced cheque makes the invoice due again.

Can we follow up job-work units and suppliers too?

Yes. Purchase orders and supplier deliveries are followed up with automatic WhatsApp and e-mail reminders, and goods due and overdue show on the owner's overview.

Is there a phone app for our staff?

Yes, on Android, with selfie attendance with face check and location, leave and field visits. Owners can also use any phone browser. Field staff see only their own customers.

What does it cost?
